Shivani joined CIM in March 2023. She previously held the title of Director and Analytical Team Lead within the U.S. Public Finance Education team at S&P Global Ratings. In this position, she led a team of analysts responsible for reviewing credit ratings on debt instruments issued by not-for-profit higher education entities, charter schools, community colleges, and private K-12 schools. In her 13 years at S&P, she also evaluated and analyzed the creditworthiness of non-profit healthcare entities, not-for-profit organizations, and privatized off-balance sheet housing projects across the United States. As Team Lead, Shivani participated in leading industry and investor conferences and was a criteria subject matter expert for charter schools, higher education, and community colleges.

Prior to joining S&P, Shivani was a Senior Budget Analyst at the NYC Office of Management and Budget. Her core job duties included liaising with city agencies and overseeing the annual and ten-year capital budgets of the city’s two key health agencies, the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation (the largest municipal healthcare system in the United States) and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Before graduate school, she worked for two years as a Senior Credit Analyst at General Electric’s Consumer Finance division in India.

Shivani holds a Master of Public Administration (core concentration in finance) with top honors from Cornell University and a Bachelors of Arts (honors) in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Delhi. She is a CFA®, CAIA ® and FRM ® charter holder.

Lane joined Clinton Investment Management (CIM) in November 2023. Prior to joining CIM, Lane spent a short period as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Coast Capital Management, LP, an event-driven hedge fund. This was preceded by over 19 years as the Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Iridian Asset Management LLC, an institutionally focused mid-cap value manager. Prior to his time at Iridian, Lane served as the Vice President—Legal and Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer for Rochdale Investment Management LLC and Rochdale Securities Corporation. He also worked as a Financial Consultant with Salomon Smith Barney, House Counsel for the Development Corporation for Israel, and Compliance Counsel for Advest, Inc. Lane holds a BA from Hofstra University, a JD from Western New England University School of Law and a LLM in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law. He is a member of the New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts bars and has served as an arbitrator for FINRA Dispute Resolution Services.

Mark joined Clinton Investment Management (CIM) in 2017. Prior to joining CIM Mark spent three years as Managing Director of Municipals at Academy Securities. Prior to Academy Mark spent 18 years as co-owner of Belle Haven Investments where he was responsible for designing and implementing the systems and procedures necessary to grow the firm’s assets under management to 1.7 billion in 2013 with 2,700 separately managed tax-exempt fixed income accounts. During the prior decade Mark was involved in institutional trading, underwriting and sales in the Municipal market. He received a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.

Andrew is CEO and Founder of Clinton Investment Management, LLC. He is responsible for municipal bond portfolio oversight and construction as well as investment strategy setting. Prior to founding CIM, Andrew began his career in 1993 building and managing UBS Global Asset Management’s* separately managed municipal investment capabilities. In his role as Senior PM with UBS, Andrew was responsible for the management and oversight of all separately managed municipal accounts and the SMAr*T Series M Fund. His assets under management totaled over $4.5 billion. His mandate included managing portfolios for high-net-worth, ultra-high-net-worth, and institutional clients. Andrew’s responsibilities included credit selection, buy/sell decisions, average weighted maturity selection, sector allocations, and security selection.

Mr. Clinton was a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Committee. He is also a member of both the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts. He earned a BS from Marist College with a concentration in finance and international trade management.
